BONUSES
- Wild: The substituting icon featured here is affectionately known as the xNudge wild and it’s represented by the medal symbol inscribed WILD. Whenever it lands on the reels, it quickly nudges and, in the process, expand to cover the entire reel. With each nudge, the wild multiplier increases by one. In the base game and all other bonus rounds except the Silent Hunter, the wild lands only on reels 3 and 4 while in the Silent Hunter it lands only on reel 4.
- Scatter: The green radar icon acts as the scatter symbol.
- xWays: The medal icon coming with the XWAYS inscription acts as the xWays icon. The icon only lands on reels 2 and 5 and when it does, it reveals a random regular symbol. The revealed symbols come in different sizes ranging from 2 to 3 symbols. When multiple xWays symbols land on the same spin, they all reveal the same regular symbol.
- xBomb Wild Multiplier: The xBomb wild multiplier is a secondary wild symbol represented by a grenade. The substituting powers of the xBomb wild allow it to substitute for all icons except the scatter. When the xBomb wild lands, it explodes all symbols which aren’t part of a winning combination except for the scatter and the regular wilds. Soon after the explosion, the tumble feature activates hence increasing the player’s chances of getting successive win lines or further improving the existing win line. With each tumble, the xBomb wild multiplier increases. When any of the bonus spins features are triggered from this round, the xBomb wild multiplier is carried over.
- Silent Hunter Spins: Three scatters landing simultaneously on the reels trigger the Silent Hunter Spins where an initial eight free spins are awarded. Upon activation, reel three will increase to 8 positions high. On this reel, players can land a secondary periscope wild symbol. Landing identical symbols on reels 1 and 2 as well as the periscope wild on adjacent positions on reel 3 will trigger a torpedo launch sequence. During the sequence, a target is located on the periscope and a torpedo is launched. If the target is successfully hit, the periscope wild expands and as it does, it nudges thus increasing the win multiplier with each nudge. If the target is missed, the torpedo wild is counted as a single wild. A sticky win multiplier is awarded each time the xBomb wild lands on the reels. The xBomb wild also increases the multiplier by one for each spin during the feature. Multiple active multipliers in play when a winning combination is landed will be added together before they are applied to the win line. Additional scatters landed during the feature help retrigger the extra two free spins.
- Wolf Pack Spins: Four of the scatters landing on the reels simultaneously help in triggering the wolf pack spins where an initial eight free spins are awarded. At the start of the feature, torpedo tubes are added beneath reels 2 to 5. This in essence means torpedo wilds can land on these reels. The first time a torpedo lands on the reels, a +2 xWays symbol is awarded. Afterwards, each time the torpedo lands, a +1 xWay symbol is awarded. The torpedo area on the middle reels only become active when the entire reel is filled with torpedo wilds. Once the torpedo area is activated, the torpedo launch sequence gets going and behind each torpedo, an xWays symbol is awarded. The xWays symbols on reels 2 and 5 transform into a regular symbol and split in the number of ways that were collected from the torpedo parts. The xWays symbols on reels 3 and 4 transform into wilds and they split in the number of ways that were collected from the torpedo parts. The highest number of ways that the xWays can split is 9. Once a torpedo is launched, players receive a sticky win multiplier which increases by one for the remainder of the feature. The sticky win multiplier is also awarded when the xBomb wild lands on the reels. The sticky win multiplier will also increase by one on each spin until the end of the feature. Landing the xBomb and a torpedo part simultaneously increases the xWays addition to the torpedo with +1. Before pays are awarded, all multiplier values are added and then they are applied as one. Extra scatters that land during the feature retrigger an additional two free spins.
